Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey- The Fate of Atlantis DLC Episode 1 Is Free Until September 1st

Great news, Assassin’s Creed fans, starting today, August 26th through September 1st, the first episode of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey’s expansion pack, The Fate of Atlantis, will be free to anyone who owns the game on all platforms. Time to remove the dust and return to the game again to enjoy this story arc.

The Fate of Atlantis DLC includes three new maps, a bunch of mythological beings to encounter and beat, and ability enhancements. One of the best parts of this DLC is that you don’t need to beat the main story, and it builds upon its arc. That’s right, even those who haven’t completed the required questline can skip it and just play the DLC content. For those people that do skip and go straight to the DLC, they start at level 52 with leveled gear and abilities. However, the level progression and achievements won’t carry over to the main save file.

The Fate of Atlantis DLC consists of three episodes: Fields of Elysium, Torment of Hades, and Judgment of Atlantis. Play as Kassandra or Alexios as they discover the secrets behind the afterlife known as Elysium. Face off with the god Hades himself, and encounter the god Poseidon. Also, find out just what happened to the lost city of Atlantis.

If you are craving more Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey besides The Fate of Atlantis DLC and want to play other DLCs, you’re in luck because Ubisoft is selling the Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey DLC season pass at half price, which means it’s $20, and the base Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey game is also on sale at Amazon for $20, so you can get everything for $40 this week for the Labor Day sale.

What do you think of Ubisoft offering The Fate of Atlantis Episode 1 for free? Will you be getting it? Tell us in the comments below or on our social media.
