Uncharted 4 Week One Sales up 66% on Uncharted 3

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has had the most successful launch of any game in the Uncharted franchise after jumping straight to the top of the video game charts following the games release last week.

Uncharted 4 beat DOOM to the top spot which came in at second place despite Uncharted 4 being available exclusively on the PS4. DOOM launched on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC but was unable to beat Uncharted 4 despite sales being up 67% on DOOM 3. Last week’s No.1, Battleborn, slipped down to No.12.

Not only did Uncharted 4 claim top spot, but week one physical sales of Uncharted 4 were also considerably more than Uncharted 3, which released on PlayStation 3 back in 2011. Compared to Uncharted 3, physical sales of Uncharted 4 were up 66% over its predecessor.
