If you own an Xbox One and want to go online, you’ll need an Xbox Live Gold membership which costs $9.99 for one month. However currently on the Xbox Live subscription page, you can receive 1 month of free Xbox Live Gold.
The free Xbox Live Gold 1 month membership is stated as being a trial, however users who currently have a subscription for Xbox Live are saying that they have been able to use it, therefore giving themselves one month free of Xbox Live.
It looks obvious that it is designed for new players so that they can try Xbox Live for free for a month before deciding whether or not to purchase the monthly subscription however it is still a useful way for current subscribers to gain a free month, and we all like freebies don’t we?
