Wii U Classic Super Mario 3D World & Bowser’s Fury Coming to Nintendo Switch Next Year

As part of their Super Mario 35th Anniversary Direct, Nintendo has announced that Super Mario 3D World will be making its way to Nintendo Switch with brand new content on February 12th, 2021.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury brings the popular Wii U game Super Mario 3D World to Nintendo Switch. This enhanced version of Super Mario 3D World features co-op gameplay both through local multiplayer and, for the first time, online. Up to 4 people can play at the same time. New content in this release is Bowser’s Fury, which looks to be a brand new area of the game. Nintendo has said that additional details about what new things this game has to offer will be revealed later. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury launches for Nintendo Switch on February 12, 2021.

Also part of this announcement, new amiibo figures Cat Mario and Cat Peach will also be released at the same time as the game.
