Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was leaked only 2 days ago, and now we have some more information on the game ahead of its official reveal on Monday.
Initially seen on 4chan, we have been given some pretty muddy images, presumably of the upcoming trailer. Here we can see the new redesign of the furry bandicoot himself, his younger, more intelligent sister, and of course, the returning villain Dr. Neo Cortex.
Mixed in with these, we see a little snapshot into what some of the levels may look like. We have all the usual Crash Bandicoot locales to explore: lush jungles, fiery, volcanic mountains, and futuristic cities. One picture is particularly interesting and seems to point to Dr. Neo Cortex being a playable character, something many fans will be excited for.
Most importantly, the final screenshot shows an October 9th, 2020 release date, meaning the game could be a final farewell to the current generation of consoles. The one thing we cannot confirm is how recent these screenshots are or if the October release date still stands amidst the current global climate. All we can do now is wait for the official reveal on the 22nd.
Stay tuned for more on Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time in the future!
