Rise of the Tomb Raider will be releasing at the end of this month on PC as expected, with Square Enix confirming the game will be available for Windows 10 and Steam on January 28th.
The game launched back in November for Xbox One, however due to a deal signed with Microsoft, Rise of the Tomb Raider launched exclusively on the Xbox One with PC and PS4 versions coming in 2016. No date has been given for when the game will launch on PS4, however the PC version will finally be making its way to PC gamers later this month.
“The PC release of Rise of the Tomb Raider continues the positive momentum from our highly successful partnership and collaboration with Microsoft for the launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360,” said Scot Amos co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics.
Ron Rosenberg, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics continued,“ PC players are a passionate, devoted audience and we know they’ll embrace the version created for their systems.”
There are three editions of Rise of the Tomb Raider available to purchase, with the standard edition being available for £39.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition will set you back £59.99 but comes bundled with the season pass granting you access to current and future DLC.
A Collector’s Edition is also available, which features the Digital Deluxe version of Rise of the Tomb Raider along with a 12-inch Lara Croft statue, a replica of Lara’s journal and jade necklace along with a steel case. The Collector’s Edition costs £109.99.
