High Rank Ryu Armor Is Now Available in Monster Hunter: World

The 3rd installment of the Street Fighter V Collaboration Event is now live in Monster Hunter: World. This time, an Alpha (higher rank) variation of the full Ryu Armor set we saw introduced in Round 1 of the Collaboration is up for grabs. You’ll notice Ryu’s Karate Gi is now dark blue.

Players are required to complete Challenge Quests to obtain the materials needed to craft the set at the Smithy. The Quests will reward tickets, ”SFV Ticket III”, upon completion.

The Challenge Quests are called: The Awakened Satsui No Hado I, II and III. Hunters are tasked with slaying a Nergigante in the Arena in each of them. They are 8-star Quests, meaning players will need to be at least Hunter Rank 13 to participate. Each quest gives out the same rewards but offers a variety of loadouts, so there are several different weapon choices available.

As they are Challenge Quests, the Nergigante you’ll be fighting will be scaled for 2 players, so it’s recommended that you grab a buddy to help. If you’re a solo hunter, try searching for an online session and set the Quest Preference to Arena.

These Quests will be available until the 24th of May so make sure you obtain the tickets to craft the set before then. Plus, the full set of Sakura Armor is available in Round 2 of the Collaboration event which is active until May 18th.

Monster Hunter: World is Capcom’s best-selling title, it was recently announced that 7.9 million copies have been shipped worldwide. In regards to Street Fighter, it has been confirmed this week that the 30th Anniversary Collection will feature both Versus and Training Mode.
