Photo Mode Is Coming to God of War

Photo mode is coming to God of War.

During Sony’s celebration livestream of God of War, they showed off the photo mode that will be coming to the game post-launch as downloadable content.

You can check out the photo mode in action below at the 39:40 mark.

The mode will work just like the photo mode from Uncharted: the Lost Legacy, allowing players to pause the game and have full camera control to get the perfect screenshot. You can then add logos, filters, borders, even change Kratos and Atreus’s facial expressions for a happy family selfie.

With God of War being such a visually stunning game, this is a welcome addition. Unfortunately, there’s no date for when it will be added yet, so far we just know it will be post-launch. It’s something the developers always wanted to add in, but their priority was always to get the game to the highest standard first before adding it in.

Here are some screenshots that some of the developers have made using the photo mode.
