EA have been extremely kind and made Star Wars: Battlefront’s final DLC pack, Scarif, completely free for this weekend. The final DLC took place on the tropical planet of Scarif which is home to the Galactic Empire’s records archive. The DLC featured four new maps set on the planet and in space above, a new game mode called Infiltration and the chance to play as the hero of the Rebel Alliance, Jyn Erso, or the Director of Imperial Advanced Weapon Research, Orson Krennic.
Much like the overall feeling towards Star Wars: Battlefront, Scarif looks and sounds great, and you truly feel like you’re fighting on the tropical paradise. Infiltration mode is an excellent three stage game where as the Rebel Alliance you will land, distract and extract vital Imperial data, and of course, as the Empire, you will need to stop the Rebels. This mode alone makes it totally worth your time to check out Scarif this weekend.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will feature a much-needed campaign mode and will also be set across multiple eras as we previously reported.
