New Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 Gameplay Shows Off Slaughterhouse Mission

Developer CI Games has released new gameplay footage of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 which showcases the never-seen-before Slaughterhouse location and mission.

The gameplay walkthrough gives us a good glimpse into what we can expect from Ghost Warrior 3. We’re shown the range of different customization options available as well as realistic game mechanics, including having to take into account wind speed and bullet drop when taking out a target.

CI Games’ walkthrough begins with them showing off the game’s customization options which allows players to choose their primary, secondary and sidearm weapons as well as equipment and gadgets, with different items being better suited for different missions and environments. Once you’ve chosen a weapon, players can then choose from a range of different attachments, including optics, magazines, suppressors, bi-pods and even camo. You can even choose from a variety of different ammunition types, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.

The developers offer a running commentary throughout the video which explains in more detail some of the new features we are seeing in Ghost Warrior 3, including crafting, interrogation and the day and night cycle. We also get a bit more of an idea of the ongoing conflict and the kind of atrocities that are being committed.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will be heading to PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 4th.

I love that you are going to be able to pick out your equipment and customize it before every mission. I’ve seen a lot of gameplays with the AK. I hope that there will be more weapons to choose from

There will be to different AKs and you are also getting an M4 like riffle. There might be more but I haven’t seen them. Also you are getting loads of sniper riffles to chose from, so I wouldn’t worry if I ware you 🙂

Oh yeah I know that there will be loads of sniper rifles. Maybe it is normal that there won’t be to much assault rifles… SGW 3 is a sniping game after all. It is cool that you can see a difference between two different AK’s 😀

Well if you are a gun enthusiast it is quite easy after some time… Also as you say the game is sniping oriented but I wouldn’t say that 3 rifles plus is a small number. Also please don’t use the term ‘assault rifle’

This mission is sick… I knew that war is horrible, but it’s something else when you see somethinglike this… This is so freaking scarry. It’s hardly killing people – they’re vultures.

I like the fact that CI games is showing the terror of war. SGW 1 and 2 didn’t show this horrible side of war and both games seamed a bit flat too me. SGW 3 is sth different tho
