Nintendo to Host Indie Night Event Before PAX Prime

Nintendo has announced that they, with the help of EMP Museum in Seattle, are going to host an indie night event, Nindies@Night. The event will take place on the 27th of August, the night before PAX Prime and it will have free admission on a first-come first-served basis. Nindies@Night will celebrate various recent and upcoming indie games being released for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

“Support from our esteemed ‘Nindie’ developers on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS continues to surprise and delight our fans,” said Damon Baker, Nintendo of America’s Senior Marketing Manager of Publisher and Developer Relations. “We’re thrilled to highlight these partners in collaboration with EMP and kick off the expo weekend in the best way possible – by playing new games together with friends.”

During the event, a total of 19 “Nindies” will be playable and many of them will have the devs on hand to talk about their games and answer questions. Multiplayer competitions will also be held and a presentation will be held by Damon Baker.
