EA Servers Down Once Again – Battlefield 1 and FIFA 17 Servers Knocked Offline

Update: EA have stated on Twitter that they have resolved the issue and that servers should be back up and running.

However there are still plenty of people who are having problems connecting as well as those who are experiencing issues making purchases or having coins in Ultimate team missing. If you’re having any problems, EA advice to reach out to them.

Original Story: If you’re trying to connect online to play any EA titles right now, you’ve probably found yourself unable to connect. That’s because EA servers are down once again for everyone across all platforms including Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The servers started to show problems at around 8pm GMT when initial reports of connectivity issues started to come in, but only a small number of gamers appear to have been impacted at that time. However, it seems that no one is able to connect at all now.

Not only is there a problem playing games such as Battlefield 1 and FIFA 17 online, but there are also issues logging into EA Access and Origin which is leaving some gamers unable to play their games at all.

It’s the third time that EA servers have experienced connectivity issues within the space of a week.

EA have acknowledged the recent outage and are currently investigating the issue. At the moment there’s no ETA, but service has normally been restored within 12 hours, although lots of gamers have still been unable to connect even after EA have announced that service has been restored back to normal.

Hopefully EA are able to get the servers back up and running sooner rather than later, but I’m sure we’d all appreciate it if EA could ensure that this doesn’t keep happening on such a regular basis.
