Crackdown 3 heading to Xbox One in 2016

Crackdown 3 will be launching on Xbox One in 2016, Microsoft and Raegent Games have announced.

A multiplayer beta for Crackdown 3 will be available in the summer of 2016, suggesting that Crackdown 3 won’t be released until close to the end of the year.

The game will place players in the shoes of a super-powered Agent of Justice tasked with bringing down a criminal empire in a full destructible, huge new city.

Players will be able to destroy everything, including bringing down Skyscrapers and turning them into rubble. This is possible due to the game using the Microsoft Cloud, which apparently is giving the game the ability to harness 20 times the power of the Xbox One.

Unfortunately, Microsoft confirmed that this would only be available in the multiplayer mode as the Microsoft Cloud is only used in Crackdown 3’s online component. However the campaign will be co-operative, allowing you to bring 3 other friends to the fight.
