SGDQ 2015 Raises Over $1.2 Million For Doctors Without Borders

The speedrunning event, Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) ended yesterday and according to their tracker the event raised over $1.2 million. This year’s SGDQ was raising money for Doctors Without Borders, the international medical humanitarian organization which provides impartial aid in nearly 70 countries around the world.

Throughout the event 22,075 people donated a whopping $1,232,925.90 which goes straight to Doctors Without Borders. The average donation was of an impressive $43.29 with the biggest donation, coming from an anonymous source, being $21,498.
