Dreadnought Playable at gamescom

Publishers Grey Box and Six Foot and developer YAGER announced that Dreadnought will be playable to the European public for the first time at gamescom. Attendees can experience the space action game’s 5v5 Team Deathmatch mode across two maps and meet some of YAGER’s development team members, and other personalities playing the game, on the showroom floor.

“We’re thrilled for the excitement Dreadnought has received from people all over the world since we announced
it last year, and on a personal level, we’re all very happy to finally be able to put players in the captain’s chair on our home turf. gamescom is a homecoming of sorts for us, and we can’t wait to meet and mingle with players at this year’s show.” says YAGER Development CEO Timo Ullmann.

Set in a futuristic era of galactic strife, Dreadnought puts players in command of massive capital ships for all-out
tactical action warfare in space and across the skies of distant worlds. Battleships come in different classes and are further customizable with powerful armaments, abilities, perks, and a large variety of visual enhancements.

Dreadnought will be feature competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes, as well as a single-player campaign and is set to release as a free-to-play game on PC in 2016.
