Pokemon Day 2025 – Spreading Some TCG Love

If you’ve somehow missed the past quarter of a decade of Poke-madness, then let me be the first to tell you that the TCG is still a huge part of the franchise. The recent release of a new mobile adaptation of the game has been taking fans by storm lately, but that doesn’t mean you can forget about some of the fantastic physical cards you can actually get your hands on right now.

The latest expansion, Scarlet & Violet: Prismatic Evolutions, does exactly what it says on the tin and features various special evolutions for some fan-favourite Pokemon, based on the new ‘Terra’ transformations found in Scarlet and Violet themselves. If all of this excites you, then check out these fantastic products for the latest TCG set:

Pokemon Day 2025 – PowerA’s PokePeripherals

Suppose you’re swinging more towards actually playing some video games in the Pokemon video game franchise. In that case, you’re going to love this selection of Pokemon-themed peripherals from the folks over at PowerA. We already took a look at some of their hardware, in particular the OPS V1, so we can attest that they know what they’re doing with game peripherals.

As well as high-quality, you can enjoy some pretty top-tier designs. In particular, the Pikachu Garden protection case is adorable, but you can also get your hands on some premium enhanced PowerA controllers emblazoned (pun) with Charizard or Pikachu! We can’t even decide which one we like more.

Pokemon Day 2025 – Video Games

Finally, no Pokemon Day would be complete without some actual Pokemon video games. The key difficulty here is finding a Pokemon game that your intended giftee hasn’t already played to death. With that in mind, we can recommend some Pokemon games they might have missed outside of the main-game cycle.

New Pokemon Snap is a great follow-up to the original N64 title that sees players going on a Poke-safari to try and snap pictures of as many of the critters as possible. If you’ve got a bit more of a violent streak, consider trying out Pokken Tournament DX, a title that combines Tekken and Pokemon in an even more brutal take on the franchise.

We’ll keep updating articles as we discover new offers and deals, so make sure you keep checking back pretty often.
