Gran Turismo: Sport Releasing on PS4 in November

Gran Turismo: Sport will be coming to PlayStation 4 on November 18th, Sony and Polyphony Digital have today announced.

The latest game in the Gran Turismo franchise will mark the series debut on the current-gen PlayStation 4, with the last Gran Turismo releasing back in 2013 for PS3. It’s been nearly 20 years since the Gran Turismo series first made its debut on the PlayStation 1 back in 1997. However, Gran Turismo: Sport should not be mistaken for Gran Turismo 7 with the game being a standalone entry in the series.

Gran Turismo: Sport will feature 137 premium cars, all of which have been remodeled from scratch since Gran Turismo 6. In addition to that, every car will also have an interior view for those who enjoy racing in first-person view from inside the cockpit. There will be three primary game-modes available in Gran Turismo: Sport –  Campaign, Sports Mode and Arcade Mode.

The game will also feature 19 locations with 27 different track layouts available in total and will focus on eSports after a deal was struck with the FIA. There will also be support for PlayStation VR, with the game being fully compatibly with the headset.
