Titanfall 2 will release in Q4 2016, EA has confirmed in its latest financial report.
During EA’s financial reports, they revealed that Titanfall 2 will be launching alongside Battlefield 1 in Q3 of its FY17 which runs from April 1st, 2016 to May 31st, 2017. Therefore, Q3 of its Fiscal Year means that we can expect Titanfall 2 to release between October and December 2016, putting it in direct competition with both Battlefield 1 and, of course, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
EA’s own Battlefield 1 launches on October 21st while Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be available two weeks later, releasing on November 4th. To avoid direct competition, it seems inevitable that Titanfall 2 will release after Battlefield 1, although EA may look to release the game in December so that it avoids competing against the release of Infinite Warfare, which is expected to sell well as a result of coming bundled with a remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Titanfall 2 will be getting a worldwide reveal at EA Play on June 12th, however, so we can expect to see more details about the game, as well as hopefully a potential release date next month.
