Following yesterday’s leaks of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare which stated that the game would launch with a copy of Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Remastered, Activision has now fueled speculation that the rumour is true by tweeting a poop emoji in a response to a tweet about a remastered version of the game.
The official Call of Duty Twitter account replied to an old tweet from 2014, which you can see below. The tweeter claimed that they would poop their pants if a Modern Warfare remaster was to ever happen. Activision’s response is certainly a sign of a good sign of humour and hopefully, a sign that the Remaster is indeed real. It certainly hasn’t done anything to lessen the hype though that’s for sure.

The response by Activision clearly means two things. Either that the Call of Duty 4 remaster is happening, or that the company is instead having a laugh at everyone’s expense and there is no remaster. But I guess we already knew that there were only two possible outcomes right?
A reveal for this year’s Call of Duty is expected within the next few days so we will know for sure whether or not this is true shortly.
