Insomniac Games tweeted earlier that its newest game, Ratchet and Clank has gone gold. Which means development on the game has finished and here’s the finished product for proof.

Ratchet and Clank is a remake of the first game, It is based on elements from the 2002 PS2 classic but is described to be a whole new game based on the movie which Insomniac Games explained on Twitter. The game is budget priced meaning it will cost just $40 instead of $60 and will be released on the 12th of April, 2 Weeks before the movie which is based on the original game and will be released in cinemas on the 29th of April.

In addition to superb visuals, Ratchet & Clank the game will feature new planets, bosses, and weapons, as well as an up to date Control Scheme. These weapons consist of both brand-new weapons and some returning from the Ratchet & Clank Future games, such as the Groovitron that makes nearby characters to burst out into a dance. If you pre-order Ratchet and Clank you will receive the bouncer weapon as a reward from Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando.
