The new zombies map, part of the upcoming second DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, has been leaked by accident on the game’s website.
The image was originally spotted by Charlie Intel and was available on the Black Ops 3 website under a section called “Get Bonus Themes”. It stated that if players purchased the season pass, they would receive access to exclusive PS4 themes, including the The Giant’ Zombies Map and the PS4™ exclusive Zombies ‘Der Eisendrache’ Dynamic System Theme.
When you visited that section, an image was displayed when you select the Zombies Theme. While this could have been just a wallpaper for the zombies mode, the source code for the image stated, “dlc2-screen-zombies”, implying that the image is related to the new zombie map heading to Black Ops 3.
Activision has since pulled the image from the website which further suggests that this was a first look at the DLC’s zombie map.
The second piece of DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released on PS4 first before heading to Xbox One and PC a month after following Sony’s deal for timed exclusivity.
