A Post-apocalyptic setting with mechanised creatures such as giant robotic killer dinosaurs. On paper that doesn’t make any sense, and it sure doesn’t sound like it would work, but Horizon: Zero Dawn achieves just that, making it work and look fun to play. The game manages to innovate bringing something new to the table when it comes to open world games. Guerrilla Games, who are known for their Killzone series, had no right to make a game like this when all they know how to make are first-person shooters, but they have shown gamers that anything is possible when it comes to gaming.
We got to see the big colourful world that seems full of lore and personality and more robots, including being able to override a robot and use it as your own personal mount. We got a quick look at the world map and crafting system.
Check out how Guerrilla Game’ Horizon: Zero Dawn is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated RPGs coming in 2017.
