A crossover between Team 17’s The Escapist and The Walking Dead, known as The Escapists The Walking Dead, is making its way onto Xbox One and PC this summer, Team 17 has announced.
The game will be in partnership with Skybound Entertainment and will combine the art style and gameplay of The Escapist while featuring the lore of The Walking Dead comics. The game will follow the same timeline of the comics and will see players return to familiar locations within the game as well as encountering familiar survivors from the comics.
Players will play as Rick Grimes as he attempts to rescue and save survivors and seek out a safe escape route from each area in the game while at the same time fending off zombies which are trying to eat you and your gang. You must try and keep as many of them alive as possible.
The Escapist has sold over 600,000 copies since its release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC with The Escapist The Walking Dead set to boost sales further.
