If there is one feature that Fallout 4 is lacking, it’s a hardcore survival mode. Thankfully, Bethesda has announced on Twitter that it is working on overhauling the Fallout 4 Survival Mode so that it changes the way you play the game.
The current Survival Mode for Fallout 4 doesn’t include any of the features which made the mode popular in Fallout New Vegas, instead only increasing the amount of damage you take as well as giving enemies a health boost. In short, it currently makes the game more challenging by making enemies stronger and you weaker.
However, that is all about to change with Fallout 4 set to receive a true survival mode which will add diseases to the game as well as adding hunger and tiredness to the game. To stay alive, players will need to eat and rest if they are to survive another day out in the Commonwealth.
We’re also doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode. Food, sleep, diseases, danger and more. Stay tuned.

We can’t wait to see this revamped survival mode hit Fallout 4. Not only that though, Bethesda also stated that they are closing in on revealing information regarding Fallout 4’s first piece of DLC.
“We know you’re ready to learn what’s coming for Fallout 4 DLC. We’re not far off, and we think you’ll be excited,” Bethesda said on Twitter.
