DOOM gets May 13 release date for PS4, Xbox One & PC

DOOM will be releasing worldwide on May 13, 2016 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, Bethesda and id Software has announced.

Being developed by id Software, the guys who created the original DOOM for PC way back in the early 1990’s, the next-gen reboot of one of the most popular games of all time will introduce a new single-player campaign which will see players ‘obliterating demon hordes through the depths of Hell’ as well as various multiplayer modes along with the introduction of a brand new map editor, SnapMap, which allows players to create and share their own content for the game.

If you are a huge DOOM fan, you can grab a Collector’s Edition of the game for £99.99 which comes with a 12 inch statue of the game’s most iconic demons: the Revenant and a copy of the game packaged in a metal case.

Anyone who pre-orders a copy of DOOM will also receive an exclusive pre-order bonus, Demon Multiplayer Pack, which contains a unique demon armour set with three skin variations, six metallic paint colours and three id logo patterns which you can apply to your weapons and armour. You’ll also get a set of six Hack Modules which are a one-time consumable item that gives you an edge in multiplayer.
