Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass Announced, Adds 2 New Stories

During today’s Pokémon-focused Nintendo Direct, Game Freak announced that Pokémon Sword and Shield will be receiving two new expansions in 2020, along with an Expansion Pass.

The first expansion, The Isle of Armour, releasing by June 2020, features a brand new island to explore while bringing back many fan-favourite Pokémon from past regions, along with brand new rivals, customisation options and more. The second, The Crown of Tundra, will be focused on exploration and feature another new area to explore; however, details are more scarce since it is not intended to launch until Autumn 2020.

The Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass launches today for £26.99/$29.99/€29.99. Pokémon Sword and Shield released on November 15th, 2019 for Nintendo Switch.
