Resident Evil 3 Remake Revealed, Releases April 2020

Following its leak last week on PSN, Capcom have announced today via PlayStation’s State of Play presentation that a remake of Resident Evil 3 will release on April 4th, 2020.

The trailer, which debuts new designs for protagonist Jill Valentine and many other characters, shows some very brief moments of gameplay revealing that the game will feature a third-person perspective and play similarly to this year’s Resident Evil 2 remake. Further gameplay can be seen in the ‘Special Developer Message‘ video released by Capcom.

Resident Evil 3 will release on April 3rd, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and it will also include the previously announced Resident Evil: Resistance multiplayer game as a built-in multiplayer component.
