Titanfall developer working on a new third-person adventure game

Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment are working on an unannounced third-person action/adventure game, according to a job listing on Gamasutra for a lead level designer.

The listing reveals that the game in question is a “new 3rd person action/adventure IP”, with the successful applicant working on this title as well as the sequel to Titanfall which is expected to land later in 2016 or early 2017. Nothing else is known yet about this new game by Respawn Entertainment or when it will release though, with this being the first glimpse of what else the Titanfall developer has in development.

As a sequel to Titanfall has already been confirmed however, there’s a good chance that this new IP won’t release until after Titanfall “2” has seen the light of the day. Respawn are also seeking other members to join their team, including a VFX artist, senior systems designer and a server software engineer, which further suggests that it may be some time before we see more details, let alone a release of the developer’s current projects.
