Sony Announces State of Play Presentation for September 2019

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today that they will host yet another digital ‘State of Play’ presentation this upcoming Tuesday, September 24th, 2019. PlayStation social media director Sid Shuman states in a PlayStation Blog post:

“We’re preparing a pretty hefty show, weighing in at around 20 minutes and sporting a fresh new look. And we’ll have some great news to share with you, including new game reveals, new content from PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios, and a host of other updates. Should be fun!”

The announcement of yet another Nintendo Direct style presentation comes after Sony-owned studio Naughty Dog announced its plans to host a media event for its upcoming title The Last of Us Part II on the same date, leading many to speculate that a new State of Play was on the horizon.

PlayStation’s upcoming State of Play presentation will be available to stream live on their official social media platforms on September 24th, 2019 at 1pm Pacific Time (9pm BST).
