Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair Drops on October 8th for Nintendo Switch

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is releasing on Nintendo Switch on October 8th with a download size of 4.6 GB. It is now available for pre-order on the Switch e-Shop along with a 10% discount. Pre-ordering will also come with “Trowzer’s Top Tonic Pack,” which come with some fun optional cosmetic alterations.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair takes the duo to a new plane of 2.5D platforming with what appears to be some heavy reminiscent vibes of the Donkey Kong Country series. The developers, Playtonic, hinted at an October release date with a tweet back in August.

Are you going to pre-order the game? Are you excited to see Yooka and Laylee in 2D, or would you have wanted a true 3D sequel? Let us know in the comments below.
