EA Offers The Sims 4 for Free on PC

If you’ve yet to live an alternative life in the Sims universe, now might be your chance as EA is offering a free copy of The Sims 4 for all PC and Mac users.

The hugely popular life simulation game launched back in 2014 and normally costs £29.99 but is available to download for free until May 28th. In order to claim your free copy, you’ll need an Origin account, but once you claim the game, it will be added to your games library, and it’ll be yours to keep forever.

Fans of The Sims franchise will be aware that the game has received a lot of new content and features over the past few years thanks to the addition of a number of expansion packs, although they’re pretty pricey at £34.99 each. If you were considering picking up The Sims 4 though, this will be a great opportunity to do it as you’ll be able to grab yourself at least one expansion along with a copy of The Sims 4 for the price it would have cost just for the base game before this promotion.

For the duration of the promotion, EA is also running a discount on bundles for The Sims 4. The bundle allows players to choose one Expansion Pack, Game Pack, and Stuff Pack to their order. Together, this would normally cost £62.87 but is available right now for just £44.97, a discount of nearly 30%.

If you’re an Origin Access member, you’ll also get an additional 10% off any orders for additional content for The Sims 4.
