Sales of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection increased by 999% over Black Friday according to GFK Chart-Track. The huge increase in sales saw the game jump from No.24 in the video game charts up to No.9.
The reason for the massive jump in sales can be attributed to PS4 console sales with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection being included in various PS4 Bundles which were offered at discounted prices during Black Friday. Sales of consoles were up by 8% compared to last year’s Black Friday, with 86% of consoles bought during Black Friday being either PlayStation 4s or Xbox Ones.
As expected, there were a number of other games which saw a big spike in sales during Black Friday including FIFA 16 which managed to reclaim the top spot at N0.1 in the charts due to a 254% sales boost. Grand Theft Auto V also saw an increase of sales by 385% with Forza Motorspot 6 getting a 381% increase in sales.
