Nintendo has released a new update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which includes a new playable character – Link in his Champion tunic from Breath of the Wild. In addition, his ride is the Master Cycle Zero – that is a part of Breath of the Wild’s Champions’ Ballad downloadable content. Check out the trailer below.
That’s not the only new thing in this update; this update also includes new content: a set of new tires, called Ancient Tires, and a new glider that’s based on Breath of the Wild’s paraglider.
This update includes the version 1.6.0 patch which comes with unspecified “revisions to improve gameplay,” some other unlisted content (mentioned on the Nintendo site). You can download this update now for free.
