With Rainbow Six Siege due to officially launch at midnight on December 1, having previously been delayed, there are concerns from players regarding teamkilling.
As the game is more tactical and slower-paced than other multiplayer shooters such as Call of Duty, teamkilling is therefore a much bigger inconvenience especially as there are currently no penalties for doing so. Unfortunately, there will be those trolls who will want their daily kick of killing members of their team for “LOLs”. During the beta of Rainbow Six Siege, a number of players suffered at the hands of teamkillers.
However Ubisoft have spoken up, stating that they will not tolerate teamkilling when the game launches and that they have a plan in place to deal with teamkillers, stopping short of saying what exactly that “plan” is.
Replying on Twitter when asked if they had any plans to deal with teamkillers when the game launches, Ubisoft replied, “We have a plan in place to handle them, It will not be tolerated at launch!”
@perry5356 Yes. We have a plan in place to handle them. It will not be tolerated at launch!
