Poke Ball Plus Accessory Announced for Nintendo Switch and Mobile

The Pokemon Company announced today a new Pokemon-themed accessory is making its way to store shelves just in time for the new Nintendo Switch titles in November.

The Poke Ball Plus is a Poke-ball-shaped controller that allows you to catch Pokemon both in the Nintendo Switch Pokemon games, Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu and Eevee, and also in Pokemon Go! The Pokeball Plus will serve both as a Joy-Con in the Let’s Go! games and in an updated version of the Pokemon Go! app. The Pokeball Plus will light up, vibrate, and make noises imitating the Pokemon inside. The Pokeball Plus has motion control built into it, allowing players the chance to catch pokemon in both games with the flick of their wrist. The Pokeball Plus will launch alongside Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu and Eevee on November 16th. A price has not yet been announced for it.

That’s not all the Pokemon news for today. 3 new Pokemon games were announced for Nintendo Switch: Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu, Pokemon Let’s Go! Eevee, and Pokemon Quest.
