LEGO Worlds – Switch

LEGO Worlds gets a release on the Switch after coming out earlier this year on PS4 and Xbox One. The whole LEGO universe is basically a galaxy of planets just waiting to be explored. Gamers will get to ride different vehicles and meet unusual creatures. In LEGO Worlds, players travel through a number of fantasy-inspired surroundings to find hidden treasures. There is no limit to what they can do as they build worlds using the varied prebuilt LEGO structures available in the game. Those adventurous builders may also opt to assemble and construct things brick by brick. This Switch version also comes packed with the Space and Monster DLC.

Monster Hunter Stories – 3DS

Released back in 2016 in Japan, the West final gets this spin-off title from the main Monster Hunter series. Unlike any of the previous titles in the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Stories lets players take on the role of a Rider instead of a Hunter and are now able to battle in an RPG turn-based system.

The Pillars of the Earth – PC/PS4/Xbox One

Based on Ken Follett’s world-bestseller, The Pillars of the Earth retells the story of the village of Kingsbridge in a whole new way. Play as Jack, Aliena, and Philip and change the events of the book through exploration, decision-making and dialogues.

Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle – Vita/PS4/Switch

Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle is a bullet-hell battle game that takes place in the Touhou universe. Take control of one of nine Touhou characters and eliminate your opponent using bullet-hell patterns, melee attacks, or spell cards! Featuring ear-tingling beats for each character, you might just find yourself dancing while you play!

Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition – Switch

For people looking to expand their Switch library, Ubisoft have brought Rayman Legends, which was originally released in 2013, to the Switch. Players who might be hoping for some new content will be disappointed as the actual new content amounts to little more than a tournament score-tracking system for the Kung Foot minigame.

Baja: Edge of Control HD – PC /PS4/Xbox One

Baja: Edge of Control HD is the carefully remastered version of the original off-road racer from 2008 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This truly unique game contains more than 1,000 miles of the toughest terrain Mother Nature has to offer, including the steepest mountains, thickest mud and deepest canyons known to man. The HD version features much crisper and more detailed visuals running at super smooth framerates in up to 4K screen resolution.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018– Xbox 360/PS3/PC/PS4/Xbox One

The new season means new football games – and this year it’ll be Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 that gets to shoot first. Widely regarded as having better gameplay than FIFA despite lacking the licences of FIFA, PES has enjoyed something of a renaissance in recent years with its 2017 iteration enjoying widespread praise in a year when its rival arguably failed to innovate. The old issue of licenced teams remains, but a host of stars including Lionel Messi, Philippe Coutinho and Alexis Sanchez will be donning their official club stripes on release date, even if they’re facing off against the likes of South Norwood and West Yorkshire Town.
