E3 is fast approaching, so get ready for some seriously exciting announcements leading up to and, of course, at the event itself. EA themselves today have already announced the latest instalment of the Need for Speed franchise, but they have not stopped there.
In a blog post, EA has detailed what we can expect to see in the Star Wars: Battlefront II gameplay reveal at E3 and, it has to be said, it sounds awesome!
The video reveal will feature a 20 v 20 battle, which sounds great, yes, but the best part is that it takes place during one of the most important locations in the Prequel Trilogy: the capital of Naboo, Theed. The huge skirmish will also feature the Grand Army of the Republic, the Clone Troopers battling against the Droid Army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Ground and air vehicles will also feature during the video presentation, so yes, that does mean Vulture Droids! Darth Maul and Rey will also be playable as the hero characters, with the latter being a rather odd choice as the video feature seems to be Prequel-centric. Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jin would have been the logical choice because, you know, a rematch with Darth Maul!
Even with this slight discrepancy, Star Wars: Battlefront II is lining up to be a galactic success.
