Far Cry 5 Reveals Promo Art, Confirming Rumors of Religious Cult Elements

Ubisoft have just posted on its Twitter page the first promo art for the upcoming fifth instalment in open-world shooter game series Far Cry.

The promo art itself parodied the famous “Last Supper” painting, featuring the support characters and a centered person that is presumed to be the main antagonist in the game. Based on the overall style in the promo art, Far Cry 5 is assumed to tackle the theme of religious cult movements in America’s rural area. This also confirms the rumours about the game’s location and settings that leaked on Reddit. Previously, the rumours did proclaim that Far Cry 5 will feature modern settings in the mountainous area of Montana, pitting the protagonist against a mysterious cult organisation in the area.

Far Cry 5 is expected to have a full reveal on 26th May 2017, with assumptions of timed exclusivity on PS4 and PS4 Pro.
