Ah the good old battle between Microsoft and Sony for timed-exclusives. Oh how we love a good bit of healthy competition! However Bethesda is having none of it, announcing that Fallout 4 will not have any timed or platform exclusive DLC.
That means that whether you own a PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC, you will receiving exactly the same DLC at exactly the same time as everyone else, regardless of your chosen platform. Just how it should be. Bethesda won’t be punishing you and forcing you to wait weeks or months to receive additional content just because you bought the wrong console for the game.
A Season Pass will also be available for Fallout 4 on all platforms which will include all of the DLC’s.
Bethesda’s Pete Hines replied to a tweet on Twitter asking if DLC will come to Xbox One first or be released at the same time. He gave the answer we all wanted.
@XxThe5sGuyxX we aren’t doing a DLC exclusive with anyone

In previous Bethesda games however, they were timed exclusives with Xbox and PC users receiving content for Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas before PlayStation users. Even Skyrim suffered the same fate with PlayStation owners again having to wait to receiving the new DLC while their chums on Xbox and PC were already busy becoming vampires.
However there is one peice of content which will be arriving on PC before consoles and that is Fallout 4’s free mod Creation Kit. After PC, Xbox One players will get it before finally arriving on PS4.
