Middle-earth: Shadow of War New Gameplay Trailer

Middle-earth: Shadow of War may have only been officially announced a week ago, but we are already seeing gameplay footage of the highly anticipated sequel to Shadow of Mordor. With a launch date of August 22nd in North America and August 25th in Europe, it’s not far from being finished already.

The footage shows off some of the new features in the game and some updated features too. The Nemesis system seems to be the primary focus as you build your army to fight the wicked forces of the Dark Lord Sauron. The trailer takes place a bit further into the game when launching an assault on a overlord’s fortress. Using all your tools at your disposal, it sure is a sight to behold, riding a drake shooting fireballs and breathing flames on your foes.

You return once again as Talion who, along with his wraith king Celebrimbor, has forged a new ring of power to combat his dark foes. The assault on the dark fortress is but one of many. Using your commanders that you have turned to your cause is essential and will prove vital. Taking command of drakes and other advantages will help tremendously. Even your followers can save you in dire times, just like in the video, by shooting your foes before you die or leaping onto your foes and dealing massive blows to the enemy.

The walkthrough is spectacular, August 25th can’t come quick enough!
