Borderlands Coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

According to Larry Hryb, a.k.a. Major Nelson, the Xbox Live Director of Programming, Borderlands will be supported on Xbox One Backward Compatibility. The game will be available at the launch of Backward Compatibility in November and is available for preview now.

Anyone who already owns Borderlands on the Xbox 360 will be able to play the game on their Xbox One. Players will be able to carry over all their progress to Xbox One. This includes save files, add-ons and achievements.

“We are proud to support Xbox One Backward Compatibility by bringing the complete, original Borderlands to Xbox One, including all downloadable content. We know many of our fans have put in dozens, even hundreds, of hours exploring the world of Pandora on their Xbox 360, and now they can continue their adventures on Xbox One,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K, according to Major Nelson.
