New Star Wars: Battlefront DLC Rogue One Trailer Revealed

If you’ve put Star Wars: Battlefront on the shelf for a while, it’s time to take yet another look at it. EA Dice have dropped a new trailer for the coming expansion today.

This fourth and final DLC, Rogue One: Scarif, will be available to season pass owners starting December 6th which, if you’re counting, is 10 days before the new movie it’s based on releases. While it certainly was nice to visit old locations again, some things we haven’t seen before might be a nice change of pace. The DLC will have 4 new maps, including the beaches of Scarif, which you may recall from the movie trailer. We will see 2 new playable heroes in Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic. There will also be a new multi-stage map included in the DLC. Something I am glad to see as the previous addition from the Death Star DLC really brought some fun to the game.

If you happen to be a PlayStation VR owner, there is also a nice surprise for you. Coming for free (if you own Star Wars: Battlefront that is) will be a special Rogue One: X-wing VR mission. If you ever wanted to put yourself into the cockpit of an X-wing, now you can. Something that I’m sure will sell some extra PlayStation VR units. While you wait for the 6th, how about checking out some of our insight into the previous Death Star DLC HERE?

If that VR mission is enough to finally peak your interest into joining the world of Virtual Reality, you might want to take time to look at Ian Cooper’s review of the PlayStation VR HERE.
