Amazon PlayStation VR Pre-Orders to Be Fulfilled by December

Any pre-orders for PlayStation VR on Amazon.co.uk may not be fulfilled until December 12th, a whole 2 months after release.

Amazon have been saying for many months now that pre-orders will be sent out on a first-come, first-served basis. An update on the product listing confirms that launch stock will not be sufficient enough to cover all pre-orders.

A note on the PS VR product page had this to say:

Due to limited stock we are only able to offe one unit per customer per address. You will be notified via email of the expected delivery date closer to the time. We will be fulfilling customer orders in the order in which they were placed and EXPECT TO FULFIL ALL CUSTOMER PRE-ORDERS BY DECEMBER 12th 2016. This product comes with a UK plug and therefore may not be suitable for use outside the UK.

Anyone who places a pre-order for PS VR may well be waiting several months after launch for the product.

Meanwhile, GAME.co.uk are still promising delivery of the product on launch day. GAME stated on their website:

Pre-order now to guarantee your PlayStation VR product for launch. All customers who have already pre-ordered will receive on launch day.

Playstation VR launches on October 13th.

Well at least you guys had the ability to pre-order at all. Here in America, Sony only gave us a total of 16 minutes to pre-order, and cut us off until launch day. 8 minutes on the first day, 4 minutes on the second day, and 4 minutes on the last day is all we got.
