Mafia 3 reveal confirmed for Gamescom

Mafia 3 will be officially revealed at Gamescom next week, 2K has announced.

The games first trailer will be aired at 1pm next Wednesday on the Mafia 3 YouTube channel. Additional details about the game will be revealed behind-closed-doors to the media which will then filter out to the public.

Mafia 3 is “the next installment in the popular series known for immersing players into a world of organised crime through rich narrative storytelling and a beautifully crafted game world featuring period-accurate cars, music and fashion,” states 2K.

The game is being developed by Hangar 13, a studio created by 2K. 2K Czech are also involved in the development of Mafia 3, having been involved in the creation of the previous games in the Mafia franchise.

At present there are no details regarding what platforms the game will be releasing on or when it will be available, however it would be a huge surprise if the game isn’t available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. If it isn’t available on those platforms, there’s probably no point developing it….
