Red Dead Redemption 2 is probably that one game everyone is hoping will be revealed at E3 this year, and there is a pretty good chance that we will see it. While it hasn’t officially been announced yet by Rockstar, it has been hinted at several times before by various employees of Rockstar and its parent company Take-Two, and there isn’t one person who would doubt its existence.
However, this latest hint has further fueled the fire and definitely shows that the Red Dead franchise is fresh on Rockstar’s minds after a listing for a new game appeared under the Red Dead section of Rockstar Games’ website.
Under this section, you can see the likes of Red Dead Revolver, Red Dead Redemption, and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, but beneath them you can see a fourth listing, although no name was given for it and instead had placeholder text. The fourth listing did talk about an official website though, which suggests that the listing was genuine and will be for the next game in the Red Dead franchise. Quickly after going live, the listing was, of course, pulled by Rockstar and appears to have been mistakenly published.
With E3 about to begin, we will be looking eagerly to see what Rockstar have up their sleeve. After all, they did say that they would be at E3 2016 in a “big way”.
