The Witcher 3 free DLC was released prematurely, don’t download it…

If you have noticed that the latest free DLC for The Witcher 3 is available to download, CD Projekt has advised against downloading it until it is officially released.

The reason for the DLC becoming available to download is that it was released prematurely via XBL when it wasn’t ready. The DLC contains a new outfit for Ciri so as tempting as it may seem to give her wardrobe a bit of a shake up, you should definitely hold fire!

CD Projekt Red’s Community Lead & Website Coordinator Marcin Momot took to twitter to advise players against downloading it.

There have been reports on Twitter and other outlets that those who have downloaded the DLC have found their save to no longer function and have had to delete the game and reinstall it to get it working after losing their progress.

It’s best to just stay away for now…
