The Fortnite Chapter 2 update released last week brought many new features to the game. This included a whole new map, new weapons and a fishing mechanic. One special item that can be obtained by fishing is the Mythic Goldfish, a one-hit kill item with a really low attainable rate.
The Fortnite Subreddit user BlakeBenbow made a post with footage of him being killed by the mythical item…and getting an achievement for it. The item is a golden fishing trophy and supposedly can deal 200 damage.
Dataminers had found the files for this item in the game, with many people speculating that the item was just usable yet. We now know that it exists, and it is here.
