Just before the end of the year, Nintendo has decided to share new data about game sales on Nintendo Switch. Although specific sales numbers are not provided, the list gives you the Top 26 software titles on Switch. The following are, as Nintendo labels it, the bestselling games on the North American eShop in 2018:

It should be noted that Nintendo says this is the list of Bestselling games on the North American eShop. There are a number of free-to-play games on this list (5 of the Top 10), so we’d assume Nintendo meant it as a combined Most Downloaded/Bestselling list. Nintendo mentions this data is based on top downloaded software on the North American eShop, as well as the top downloaded games from Nintendo.com. We should get word soon from other eShop regions for their Bestselling Switch games as well.
