Yes, they are giant key-shaped swords. But somehow, Square Enix manages to pull it off, tailoring each Keyblade’s design to the theme of the Disney or original world it comes from.

10.Fairy Harp
Obtained: Seal the Keyhole of Neverland.
Ability: Increase Max MP by 1, increases magic and summon power, sometimes deals critical hits.
Stats: Strength +8, MP +1
Comments: This Keyblade has good base stats but is significantly less useful due to its low critical hit ratio and having the shortest reach in the game.
9. Diamond Dust
Obtained: Defeat the Ice Titan in the Gold Cup at Olympus Coliseum. Available after winning the Hades Cup.
Ability: Greatly increases magic and summon power. Raises Max MP by 3.
Stats: Strength +3, MP +3
Comments: This Keyblade serves as one of the best for players who favour magic style combat.
8. One-Winged Angel
Obtained: Defeat Sephiroth in the Platinum Cup at Olympus Coliseum. Available after sealing the keyhole of Hollow Bastion.
Ability: Possesses the strongest critical hit ratio.
Stats: Strength +8, MP -2
Comments: One of the most difficult to obtain and one of the most aesthetically pleasing. Its reach is the greatest in the game, but its strength and magic stats are beaten by other Keyblades that are easier to obtain.
7. Metal Chocobo
Obtained: After defeating Cloud in the Hercules Cup at Olympus Coliseum.
Ability: Possesses incredible strength and reach but reduces Max MP by 1.
Stats: Strength +9, MP -1
Comments: A top contender for its strength and high reach. It can be obtained relatively early in the game.
6. Olympia
Obtained: After sealing the keyhole of Olympus Coliseum, open the chest in the arena entrance.
Ability: Difficult to deflect and capable of a string of critical blows.
Stats: Strength +10, MP +0
Comments: A clear winner in strength and obtained quite early in the game. Unfortunately, it has minimal reach.
5. Oathkeeper
Obtained: After returning from Hollow Bastion the first time, given by Kairi in the Secret Waterway of Traverse Town.
Ability: Raises Max MP by 1, enhances magic and summon power whilst capable of a string of critical blows.
Stats: Strength +9, MP +1
Comments: One of the best-balanced Keyblades in the game.
4. Oblivion
Obtained: After returning to Hollow Bastion, this Keyblade is acquired by opening the chest directly opposite the dark depths at the back of the Grand Hall.
Ability: Colossal power but reduces Max MP by 1.
Stats: Strength +11, MP -1
Comments: This is a fan favourite with good reach and is well worth the reduction in MP.
3. Divine Rose
Obtained: When returning to Hollow Bastion, received after speaking to Belle in the library.
Ability: Difficult to deflect and capable of stringing critical hits.
Stats: Strength +13, MP +0
Comments: One of the most powerful physical Keyblades and easily obtainable.
2. Lionheart
Obtained: After defeating Leon and Cloud in the Hades Cup at Olympus Coliseum.
Ability: Raises Max MP by 1, increases magic and summon power and deals great physical damage.
Stats: Strength +10, MP +1
Comments: The best-balanced Keyblade after the Ultima Weapon. Its increase in magic and summon power alongside its strength makes it second best.
1. Ultima Weapon
Obtained: As the name implies, it is the ultimate weapon and usually the final Keyblade of the game. It can only be obtained by synthesising at the Moogle shop in Traverse Town. All 30 items must be synthesised before the recipe is unlocked. It requires: 5 Thunder Gems, 5 Mystery Goos, 3 Serenity Powers, 3 Stormy Stones and 3 Dark Matters.
Ability: Raises max MP by 2 and possesses the highest attributes.
Stats: Strength +14, MP +2
Comments: Whilst it may take a long time to gather the necessary materials, there is no denying this Keyblade truly is the ultimate.
