Is the future of PES safe? Konami says it is

After rumours emerged yesterday that the future of PES was under threat and that Konami may not be planning to launch a new game in the series, Konami has taken to Twitter to state that “the future of PES is safe.”

European product manager Adam Bhatti told followers on twitter to stop worrying and that the future of the footballing series was safe. He was also revealed that the future looks bright and they can’t wait to show games what they have in store.

“Hey guys just want to say to please stop worrying, the future of PES is safe,” he said. “We have an incredible future ahead, can’t wait to show you.”

PES 2016 is yet to be formally announced by Konami however it is expected to arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and PC later this year.
